As we move into our 5th year of running Straitjacket we take the time to reflect on our past. Dino and Ahn have been working together since Gallery 139 days on Beaumont St. Although, Ahn started this gallery in 2015, Dino started helping with installs and openings during 2016 and continued to help until the gallery closed it doors at the end of 2018. They continued to present exhibitions together during 2019 at Newcastle Art Space. COVID19 lockdowns started in March 2020, during this time Dino started renovations at 222 Denison St, Broadmeadow. Gallery 139 continued to present online exhibitions during 2020. 

Straitjacket opened on Saturday 9 July 2022. With both Dino and Ahn as joint Directors.
