Zachary Craig’s interest as a painter lies in developing a vast painterly vocabulary, understanding the behaviour of Paint and creating paintings that make us feel.

“Painting was birthed in Caves by our first ancestors, it was bodily and based on the directness of sensation it was the channel between our Inner and Outer Worlds. The inflexibility of Rationalism and Conceptualism have atrophied the muscles and pulse that deliver real Spiritual sustenance. These paintings I hope act as balms to the condition of our Modern Souls.” Zachary Craig

Zachary’s desire to develop his knowledge of Art history and understand the Nature of painting have led him to many of the Art collections in Europe and has culminated in the work exhibited in this show. This exhibition represents part of his exploration into a painting language as initiated by 20th Century Modern non-representational painting Masters.
