My current series of paintings have been developed as a result of a September 2022 artist’s expedition to the West MacDonnell Ranges. The expedition was an immersive experience of drawing and mark making in direct observation of the landscape. Working from this material in the studio has allowed me the freedom to convey a sense of the landscape as I experienced it.
