Belinda Street - Exhibition

Belinda Street will be taking over Gallery 2 & Project Space with her solo exhibition “Keep your feet on the ground and your thoughts at lofty heights”.

These new paintings centre around two alpine areas of Australia; Mount Kosciuszko and Mount Wellington Tasmania. 

The alpine landscape is a recurring theme for Street. The artist is drawn not only to it’s lonliness and isolation-shifiting and unstable. Through this landscape the artist pushes and pulls between representation and abstraction, using the pieces to explore her own personal desires, longing, loss, frustrations and guilt.
