About us
Straitjacket is an art partnership run by two artists: Dino Consalvo and Ahn Wells in Newcastle, NSW Australia. We present curated solo, group and represented artist exhibitions.
We established the gallery to create a space that not only supports artists by providing a professional gallery in which to exhibit and sell their artwork, but also to produce exhibitions for audiences that challenge, explore and investigate contemporary ideas and concepts.
Our bricks and mortar gallery is located at 222 Denison Street, Broadmeadow (Newcastle), NSW, Australia.
Wells previously ran Gallery 139 from 2016 – 2020 in Newcastle. Straitjacket launched in July 2022.
